Living around kelp-covered rocks and clumps in the sea is the beautifully camouflaged leafy sea dragon with its long leaf-like protrusion all over its body. A small, transparent pectoral fin on the ridge of the neck and a dorsal fin close to the tail are used for propulsion. Growing 20-24 cm long, they feed on crustaceans and plankton.
