Keith Learns from Harry

Keith-Learns-from-Harry

Keith and Harry were neighbours and studied in the same class. Harry was smart and stood first in everything. Keith was jealous of Harry’s popularity and fame in the school. He was very ambitious and wanted to beat Harry at any cost. As the Annual Sports Day was nearing, Keith started eagerly preparing for an upcoming race. He thought, ‘I will make sure that I beat Harry this time.’ Harry was the fastest runner in the class. But Keith trained hard for the race every day. When the day of the race came, Keith pushed himself hard. He ran really fast and won the race. After the race, Harry came up and congratulated him. Keith knew that Harry had won all the races. He was amazed to find that Harry was not jealous at all. “Good sportsman’s spirit always counts,” said Harry before leaving. Keith understood that winning or losing is not important.
