Jaw : Information about the interest of eatables of man and creatures is obtained from the shape and perspective of his jaw, gum and teeth. Anthropologists have given information about the living standard, eating and social and intellectual development of man on the basis of their jaw, gum and teeth existed in ancient fossils of the man. Jaw, found in the man fossils of pre-historian age, was strong and of big size. We conclude that then man was carnivorous, he used to take uncooked flesh; therefore, their teeth and jaw were big and strong. But with gradual development of civilisation, man discovered the fire. The man started taking boiled or cooked food. After discovering the fire men’s teeth and jaw comparatively became small. Accordingly the existence of misshapen, unarranged, ugly, deformed, projecting teeth and jaw gives indication of primitive perspective of the man.
Gum : Gum places teeth on the jaw in their proper places. The colour, constitution and appearance of gum while talking and laughing gives important information. The colour, structure and appearance of gum are considered in face reading.
The colour of gum gives information about the health and nature of the man. The colour of the man is genetical or racial. The gum of primitive and undeveloped species is black, developing species is red and developed species is pink. The gum having deep red colour gives indication of blood related disease, stomach trouble or acidity. In case of ulcer and infection, the gum is reddish. The pink gum indicates normal health. Yellowish and whitish gum gives indication of anaemia. The gum having blue colour or fade gum gives indication of poison or fatal infection.
The persons looking frontward contracting their nose and whose gum is seen due to uplifting their lips are less minded and their eyes have also defects.
The gums of civilized and decent persons remain covered while laughing, talking and singing i.e. they are never seen. Outgrowth of gums shows the disorder of mind, brain and body or racial backwardness or undeveloped primitive stage.
Teeth : Teeth is the important part of digestive system. Teeth are essential for chewing, cutting the food and producing sound. The structure of teeth is different from skeleton bones of the body. Therefore, teeth are not assumed a part of skeleton. Teeth do not exist in old age and infanthood. Teeth grow in the bones namely menduval and maxilla, which is called jaw in common terms.
There are three types of teeth – frontal teeth, which are used for cutting, are called incisor. There are total eight numbers of such teeth in the upper and lower jaw. Two pair of teeth existed between incisor, which are used for biting, are called canine. There are total four numbers of such teeth. Big and broad teeth existed between canine teeth, which are used for chewing the food, are called molar. There are total twenty numbers of such teeth. Normally there are sixteen numbers of molar teeth. Rear teeth in the upper and lower jaw appear after certain age. Such teeth are called wisdom teeth as per customs. Wisdom teeth appear between the age of 30 – 80 years and the person becomes matured on reaching this age. Therefore, this is called wisdom teeth in common terms. Anthropologists and scientists call wisdom teeth are vestigial remains. Wisdom teeth are useful in digestive system of such animals, who make cud. Since man do not make cud, therefore these wisdom teeth are useless. Ancestors of the men may ever be using these teeth; therefore, they exist even today in spite of being useless.
The persons, whose teeth are like of beer or monkey, always suffer from hunger i.e. they do not get sufficient food and are fickle-minded. The persons whose teeth are misarranged and misshapen are always sad. The persons having teeth like mouse are selfish, characterless, avaricious, amorous and sinful. The persons having smooth, adjoining and white teeth are virtuous and excellent. The teeth of mentally retarded and undeveloped minded persons are misshapen, unarranged and projecting outwards.

If the teeth of lower jaw are big and cover the upper lip, the person is hypocritical, untrustworthy and diplomatic and if the teeth of upper jaw cover lower lip, the person is short-tempered, jealous, fickle-minded, conceited and impulsive. The reason of fade colourness, yellowishness, blackishness, bluishness of the teeth signify the malfunctioning of digestive system, acidity, rickets, deficiency of calcium, involvement of mouth and teeth related disease, lack of cleanliness, tobacco addiction etc.
