Origin
This proverb was first recorded in 1678.
Explanation
It is possible to learn new things, at any age; follow your desires and dreams. Old age is not a barrier to learning and one should not think that one cannot learn new things because one’s age of learning has gone far away. Learning is not dependent on age; rather it’s dependent on one’s aptitude and interest. One should have enough interest and commitment towards learning and then you will be able to see that age doesn’t matter. You can learn at any point in your life with required determination. You should work with full motivation towards your goal and this could help you attain good heights. You can only learn when you want to; it won’t matter wheather you are young or old. So, age doesn’t play any role towards learning.
Example
Grandma decided to take a course in operating computers. “It’s never too late to learn,” she said.
