India in 2020 (Miscellaneous)

It is generally said that 19th Century belonged to Europe and 20th Century to the United States. But the 21st Century is certainly ours. India should be a country free from all kinds of exploitation. The forces of corruption, disruption and destabilisation must be eradicated.
At this juncture, I wish to quote the lines of Dr. Abdul Kalam “A developed India by 2020 or even earlier is not a dream. It need not be a mere vision in the minds of the people. It is a mission we can all take up and succeed.”
One thing is clear—the core strength of India lies in its natural human resource. India can emerge successful if Indians settle their superficial difference and think and act as Indians. Then our population will be our asset rather than being our liability. India even offers boundless employment opportunities like America.
We want India to be a nation where children are allowed to be children, not working from dawn to dusk deprived of all their childhood pleasures.
India is rapidly pacing ahead due to advancement of science and technology but the gulf between the rich and poor has increased over the years. The wealthy are becoming wealthier and the already poor are becoming poorer day by day.
Presently, it’s look like that everything is done in favour of the wealthy people. The poor are ignored. Even in current accounts you get interest if you keep on depositing money in your account every month, else they take commission from you instead. This means only a rich person who keeps on depositing money every month earn interest, the poor people, who don’t have any regular income has to give commission from their savings and lose their hard earned money without any rhyme or reason.
The children of the poor people are not given admission in good schools. The authorities of the schools consider it below their dignity to admit them in their schools despite the laws for it.
The police and politician also favour the rich and influential people, and don’t perform their duty honestly.
India must become a better place to live in till 2020. The poverty must be eliminated right from the root. The literacy rate should be taken to control population explosion. No barriers of rich and poor should remain in the country. People should not be discriminated on the basis of their caste, colour and creed.
This is the dream of our country in 2020, and let all our hopes be fulfilled and our dream become true.
