There can never be peace in the world, if there is no peace in the family. The whole world is a big family, comprised of many small families. Every small family must be comfortable and happy and then only the big world of large family become a happier place to live on.
It is important to understand the root cause of quarrels in the small family and thereafter solve them.
The first cause of violence in the family is ‘Economic Matters’. If the income is less and expenditure is more, then husband and wife start quarrelling with one-another and spoil the environment of the house. The children also become depressed due to their parents quarrels and fights.
These fights could be stopped if the couple begin to spend money with caution and sensibility. Eat with sensibility, drink with sensibility and live with sensibility. If you are living in a four room set, sell it off and buy a three room set. Compare and contrast the rates of flats at various places and buy the cheapest and the best in a good locality.
If you are fond of eating delightful dishes, then make a few of them at your home, once or twice a month and stop spending money on the conveyance and the restaurants. If you love to drink milkshakes then grind one or two bananas with a little sugar and then add to chilled milk. Share a little of milkshake with the members of your house. To be economical cut your expenses with sensibility and you could solve many of your economical problems this way.
The second reason for quarrel in the house is lack of understanding between each other. Infact one of the main causes of marital discord is misunderstandings arising between husband and wife on small issues. Sometimes the wife mean to say something else, but the husband misunderstands her and sometimes the husband mean to say something else but the wife misunderstands him, thus the husband and wife begin to quarrel with one another on petty issues.
Another reason for the loss of family peace is the wrong attitude towards the children. Some couples spoil their children by fulfilling their unfair demands and allowing them to do wrong actions. For instance, if children have the tendency to chew coins or pierce needles on their bodies, they would allow them to do so. If the children keep on demanding chocolates all the time, they would allow them to eat chocolates. If their children are fond of thrashing other children, they would not stop them. Thus, they pamper the child and make them do wrong actions all the time. The children get spoilt and tend to become violent and aggressive. Thus, they disrupt the peace of the house with their violent activities. The child must be taught to discriminate between the right and wrong action from the very childhood only then could he become a wise person and the worthy citizen of the society.
These suggestions are extremely helpful in creating a peaceful environment in the family.
