Brad was a little boy who always threw tantrums when his wishes were not fulfilled. One day, his governess told him a story : “There was once a little boy named Henry. He was honest and truthful. But he had one great fault. He would behave violently when anyone opposed him. As he grew older, his violent behaviour became worse. Soon, he became the captain of a ship. Henry used to be very angry with the sailors when they did not please him. One day, when a cabin boy did some mistake while cleaning the room, Henry beat the poor boy so cruelly that he became handicapped. When the ship reached the port, Henry was taken to prison.” Brad was gazing at his governess’ face with anxious eyes. “Is that what really happens to boys who get angry?” he asked. “It happened to Henry,” she said. “Then I promise I will never be angry and never throw tantrums,” said Brad, with tears in his eyes.
