To excel in any job means a superb feeling of peace and satisfaction which flows naturally from the job and the mind of a person. The work may be considered of great importance and highly respected. Whatever you do, do it with great zeal, valour and determination. Some renowned poet has correctly pointed–
Mita de apni Hasti ko, Gar kuch martaba chahe
Ki dana khak mai mill kar gule gulzar hota hai.
To give birth to the highest quality of workmanship we should absorb ourselves in that job that utilizes to our best the powers given by God. Work begun half-heartedly never produces positive results. Always remember he’s not the champion who has the maximum, but he is the one who gives the maximum output. People should be benefitted from our qualities and characteristics. Only those people can perform miracles who have the courage to risk their life and blood.
Napoleon Bonaparte wherever he attacked any town / country, he used to destroy all the bridges while moving ahead with his victorious army. He was of the strong belief that when there is no excuse of going back, as all the bridges have been destroyed (no provision to go back), the best choice left with the soldiers was to get killed in the war gallantly, rather than dying by running away, in cowardly manner.

Once a king called upon a very learned person, and handed over to his son, in his custody, saying, “your son shall study under guidance, along with other children. Polish his qualities and make him able and intelligent.
The learned man taught all his disciples, with great care. All of his students came out with flying colours and extremely intelligent, but the prince reached behind very much.
Seeing this, after one year’s time, the king was very much annoyed with the learned man. He rebuked him and told him that he was not judicious in his approach.
The learned man spoke and said, ‘O my lord, the observing capacity of each child varies from person to person and your son’s capacity is far below; hence, he could not learn.’ The learned man further said as gold and silver are mined from the stones itself but all stones and the mines of every place cannot be alike.
Whenever a person admits to have found more effective method to resolve his work, believe it that is the first step towards progress. We should take out time to sit peacefully for self-analysis. We should observe that whatsoever we are doing, how far are we satisfied from that? You can well imagine the difference between two people, wherein one fights only to win, while the other fights only to die. Both have a big difference. The role of strong determination and display of excellent workmanship led to the success of Napoleon to win over the world. One who risks everything, always wins confidently.
Demonstration Of Capacity and skilfulness
Do not bury your capacities and capabilities. Whatsoever capacities you have; whatsoever the quantity they may be in, put them to the test of use. You will see for yourself that they have started multiplying. We many a time not on account of capabilities, but because of inability to expose our objectives and expression face failures. Do not build a fort of expertise all around you permanently. Keep achieving new qualities and improving from time to time. When your experiment will bear fruits, the people will accept and respect you.
Try To Be Better
We should also try to think that we should improve our method of working. If yes, then where does the deficiency lie? To increase our capacities/capabilities, we should be strong-willed and we should firstly remove all the causes which prove to have adverse effects. Many opportunities exist around us. Need is for fair trial and utility.
We can take the help of books, self-learning, library magazines, schools, colleges to increase our strengths. Whatever and whatsoever we may get, should be considered the gift of God and get satisfied.
Persons keeping continuously content with poverty and misfortune always produce scanty conditions only. No person is born to live in poverty always. Until and unless the person is incompetent he does not have the right to destroy the thoughts of hope and expectations. It is of prime importance to a prudent and self-respecting man to shake up from the environment of poverty and to build an atmosphere of wealth around him and reach a prestigious position. He should raise his social status and achieve economical independence. In fact this is his birthright.
This becomes the moral duty of the person on installing himself on a prestigious position that he should help others; he should not be a burden on the society; rather, he should share the burden of the society.
If we ask any such person his happiest moments of his life, the reply would be the day he left these miserable condition and climbing the steps towards prosperity, when the strength of his capabilities and self-determination was trying to lift his living condition upwards, by putting on hard labour and efforts and when he was confident that his life would now not face any deficiency of wealth or power, perhaps that and only that day was the most happiest day.
To improve your living and economical conditions always keep trying with all your might, then only change will occur in your life. Just as a child demands a toy of his choice from his parents, similarly you may also ask God yourself prosperity and happiness, demand you rights, the sea of kindness will never send you back empty-handed. In fact, we are not aware of our strengths, nor part of His greatness; hence, the delay in achieving prosperity. Those who do not rebel deficiency and poverty and loses his heart, he always stays poor. He can never be a rich man. In many families, the children from morning to evening keep talking about poverty and misery and grow up in the same environment and die also in the same condition, leaving their children still much poorer than they were.
Children born and brought up in these conditions, are without excitement, enthusiasm, unable to put forth attempt, and remain in the vicious circle drawn by their parents. Is their an element of surprise in it? It’s you, who have to tell them that they are also part and parcel of the Almighty and they are equally like His other creations and they possess the same power to change the environment and have the same equal rights on the Supreme Treasure, as any child of rich parent would have.
Many a time, a person loses his rights, powers, excitement from fear, and under the influence of wrong imagination makes his life a burden. Howsoever the environment may be unfavourable, conditions cruel but if we do not let despair to enter our minds, nor let the deficiency of things or thoughts enter our head and not yielding to any of bad fortune, rather industrious, do hard labour, regular efforts, enthusiasm and hopefulness lead to transform the current environment, then this life can be truly successful.
John Berose has written in one of his poems, “I do not have any complaint against destiny or time, because whatever I desire for, I get it. The distance of time and space, things of Nature and depth of seas, do not take my ambitions and desires from me, because whatsoever is mine, sooner or later I am sure to get it.”
How strongly he has conveyed this law; you should also pay attention to these lines and never think on those lines, which give rise to negative thoughts, because imagining negative thoughts results in the destruction of self-confidence and determination.
Take it for granted unless your mentality does not transform its concentration to the fulfilment of your desires and hopes, till then nothing can be achieved. Thus change of mentality is a must.
