One day, a small boy, Greg, was sitting on the roof of his house. Suddenly, he saw a wolf passing below. Greg had heard many stories about a wicked wolf. The wolf would howl loudly in the night. When it howled, the children used to get scared. They would not sleep the whole night for the fear of the wolf. Greg wondered if this was the same wicked wolf that scared him every night. Just then, the wolf howled. Greg was not scared this time because he had seen the wolf. He did not fear the wolf, as he was perched on the top. He called all the children. The children assembled on the rooftop. Greg said, “Look friends, here is the wolf that scares us every night.” Suddenly, all of them started shouting at the top of their voices, “Thief! Scoundrel! Run back!” The alarmed wolf ran away. It never came back again.
