Once, there lived a greedy boy named Stephen. One day, his school organised a party. All the children were asked to bring a clean pocket handkerchief. The desks were set, and a handkerchief was spread on each desk. The teachers then served delicious buns topped with sugar. The children were served fruit juice too. Stephen gobbled down his bun as fast as possible so that he might get more buns before anybody else. Stephen’s teacher saw this and said, “O, Stephen, are you swallowing your bun so quickly because you are afraid the leftover buns would be distributed to others? You are such a greedy boy!” The teacher then explained to him, “It is very selfish to care only about your own need and not to think of other people at all. No one will like you. Learn to share and stop being greedy, Stephen!” “You are right, Sir. Now I will never be greedy or selfish,” Stephen promised the teacher. He was already having a stomach-ache after swallowing the huge bun!
