In the industrial cities there is a great demand of Even Management companies.
Graduate young men-women can get work in Event Management companies. Those people who have done degree diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations were given preference in these companies. There is always a great demand in this field for people who have attractive appearance, pleasing personality, impromptu in working in different situations, are good planners, trained organisers and are people accepting new challenges.

Event Management companies start their work by dividing in three heads programmes i.e. pre-event, event and post event.
Pre-event includes approval of the programme, its contract plan, budget, selection of place, contact with guests, discussion with sponsors, stage setting according to climate, assembly place etc.
In case of Event section, special attention is given on “what things should be kept in mind during the programme.” Under post-event, there is a discussion on the success or failure of the programme. Views of people are taken regarding the programme.
By looking at the nature of work it is clear that this work can only be done by having an active personality and good public relations. Sometimes for major programmes it becomes necessary to win the faith of top politicians, high officials or V.I.P along with that of target audience.
Negligence in any particular part of event management can become a barrier for achieving its goals.
