The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which is commonly known as the Egyptian Museum, is the Museum housing a vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The Museum is located in Cairo, Egypt. The current Egyptian Museum was built and established in 1902.

Why it is special: The Egyptian Museum has the largest collection of ancient Egyptian relics in the world. With more than 1,20,000 pieces, the museum stands as a looking glass into the ancient magical world of Egypt, specifically the collection of Pharaonic artifacts. The museum comprises two floors and houses an extensive collection of papyrus, coins, sarcophagi, tables and statues.
