Once, Sheikh Chilli was flying a kite on the terrace. His mother had cautioned him to take care of the mangoes which were kept for drying in the sun on the terrace. But soon, Sheikh started dreaming about a horse. He dreamt that he was riding a horse and chasing a kidnapper. He started shouting and jumping, “Run, Shera Run. We have to catch that scoundrel; he is taking away my princess.” While dreaming, he stepped on the mangoes and soiled them entirely with his sandals. His mother saw him doing so and beat him up severely for his day-dreaming blunders. She asked him to go to the market and fetch some grocery, although Sheikh was still not completely out of his dream. While climbing down the stairs, he kept on murmuring, “Run, Shera Run!” And again, he stumbled on the washed pile of clothes. He got beaten up yet again by his mother.
