Bobby loved winning at whatever he participated in–football, cards, video games…everything. Since he could not bear the loss, he had become an expert in all kinds of tricks and cheating. He could play tricks without ever being caught. However at one such competitions, Bobby’s tricks did not work. He was keen to show his skills, but, when he tried using all those tricks and cheats he knew from the different games, none of them worked. The competition judges had prevented any of the tricks from working. Bobby felt terribly embarrassed! He was a good player, but without his tricks, he couldn’t beat a single competitor. He was soon eliminated. He sat there, sad and thoughtful. From then on, Bobby decided not to cheat or trick. He gave up the greed for winning all the time. He was quite happy to lose sometimes, because that was when he would learn new techniques and perform better.
