Long, long ago, two palaces were built by the fairies. One was a palace of truth and the other a palace of lies. A new brick was created for the palace of truth, each time a child spoke the truth. Similarly, each time a lie was told, it added one brick to the palace of lies. One day, one brick of the palace of lies turned into sand, another one turned into cardboard. After some time, one brick turned into glass and shattered. Gradually, it became apparent that whenever a lie was detected, the brick that it had created, either changed its form, got destroyed or simply disappeared. In that way, the palace of lies slowly started getting weaker. Finally, one day, it fell and broke into pieces. That day, the fairies understood that anything built with lies gets destroyed in the end.
