Darius was a brash young man. One day, he was speeding down the highway when another car tried to overtake him. Darius swerved to prevent him from overtaking. There was an accident and the second car spun out of control. It crashed into the barrier. Many people pulled over to help. No one noticed Darius who had parked ahead. The next day, Darius read in the newspaper about the accident. He read that the driver was badly hurt. Darius felt very guilty. He knew that he was to blame, but he did not have the courage to accept his mistake. The accident had happened in the night and the driver only remembered the car he crashed into. Somebody driving a similar car had been arrested. Darius knew he had to step forward to save an innocent man. It was not easy, but somehow he found the courage to do the right thing.
