Anne had heard the stories of crying Celina, but she did not believe them. Her parents also said that they were pure superstition. However, Anne was very curious. So, one night she decided to try calling Celina. She switched off the bathroom lights, and then turned on the sink tap. The water flowed. Then she turned around thrice repeating: ‘Crying Celina’. There was a slight sound. She looked into the mirror. Red liquid oozed out of it. A dark face-like shape formed. Soon, she could see black curly hair…a mouth wide open with white fangs and red tongue! Hearing her shrieks, Anne’s parents rushed to her room. They flung open the bathroom door. The tub was filling up with reddish water. Anne lay crumpled on the floor. The doctors could not say what ailed Anne. Trust me; it was a long time before she was her usual self again.
