Once, a rude king ruled over a kingdom. He did not have a wife or a child and was always angry or sullen. Thus, he often shouted at all his ministers, especially, the chief minister. The chief minister’s son, Clark, saw that his father was sad every day and he wanted to teach the king a lesson. So, one day, Clark went to the king and said, “Your Highness, may I ask you a few questions?” The king nodded. Clark asked, “What is the duty of a king?” The king replied, “What a senseless question! To take care of his subjects, of course!” Clark asked again, “So, in that way, you are your subject’s father, since a father does the same thing. Do you agree?” The king said, “Yes, I agree.” Clark asked, “Then, why do you make your children cry every day?” The king realised his mistake and promised never to be angry or rude again.
