Two sisters, Lily and Sara, were adorning the Christmas tree in their living room. Lily said, “Have you made a wish for Christmas?” “I have. But I won’t tell you. It is a secret!” Sara said. The girls were too excited that Christmas was almost there. When they put up all the decorations on the tree, Lily said, “Let us wrap the gifts we have brought for our friends.” So, they wrapped up the gifts with colourful wrappers and strings wishing them a Merry Christmas. Then, Sara said, “Lily, now I am wrapping one for you. But you have to wait until Christmas to open it.” “I’ll make one for you, too. You will be surprised when you see it!” said Lily. Smiling, the two girls finished their wrapping and went to bed. Both were excited and could not sleep. They realized that the true spirit of Christmas is sharing and caring.
