Jeremy loved to play with his building blocks. He built cottages and palaces and would dream of living in them! One day, he heard a soft voice, “This is a wonderful palace, so full of colour and light! Let’s get it for Princess Flora!” Jeremy peeped in and found splendidly dressed Fairy King and Fairy Queen in it! They wanted the house for their daughter! He spoke softly so as not to frighten them, “May I ask where you would like the house to be taken?” The fairies saw Jeremy peering in through the door. “Are you the owner?” they asked. Jeremy nodded. “Could we have it in the garden outside, please? Then there will be starlight, moonlight and flowers all around!” said the king and the queen. Jeremy took the blocks and built the house under a rose-bush in the garden. He was delighted to make a gift for Princess Flora whom he watched every day!
