Picnics attribute spice to our life and make it interesting. One fine day, we thought of sparing some time from our daily routine of monotonous work and go for a picnic to a nice picnic spot. My mother prepared delicious sandwiches and few other types of snacks. She filled up the water bottles with pineapple squash in the shapes of ice cubes. We took a small bag and kept all the edibles in it and proceeded in our car to a picnic spot called ‘Kalindi Kunj.’
Kalindi Kunj seemed to be a good place between the concrete jungle of Delhi for outings. It is a garden of colourful fountains. We took the ticket from the window and went inside the garden of spectacular fountains.
It was a wonderful sight to behold! The fountains looked fascinating with their colourful lights. The splashing water of the fountains attributed life and joy in the entire environment. We sat down on a mat and began to enjoy the luxuries of the enchanting place. My mother gave us sandwiches and other snacks and poured some squash in dispensable glasses. We saw many couples enjoying in that wonderful picnic spot.
Kalindi Kunj gaves us freedom from the tensions and worries of life for some time. It was growing dark when we proceeded back towards our house, after spending our time in the heavenly place. It gave us relief from all the worries and we began our daily routine with fresh body and minds.
