A stitch in time saves nine (Proverbial)

Sometimes we do not pay attention to small things. We have to suffer on that account. We repent afterwards. We should always act in time and do the needful.
If our coat of shirt needs just one stitch, we should do it immediately. If we do not stitch it, the hole will grow bigger and we may have to spend more on it.
This proverb applies to our character also. Ramanuj in the only son of his parents. His parents love him very much. They give him as much money as he damands. He is fond of going to the cinema. His parents did not mind his going to the cinema in the beginning. He has become a filmfan. He does not take interest in his studies. He often runs away form home. His parents have tries their best to set him right but they can’t. They did not care when their sone developed this habbit in the beggining. Now this disease has become incurable.
This proverb applies to our health also. I was ten years old. Once I fell ill. I have fever but I did not take medicine. I used to go to school daily. I played in the open ground with my friends. My father also did not care for it. My friend Kailash asked me to take medicine but I did not listen to him. After ten days I had a severe pain in my body. I was taken home. A doctor was called in. He said that I had typhoid. I remained in bed for 40 days. My father had to spend more than two thousand rupees on me. I became very weak. I could not walk. It could not go to school. I failed in the annual examination. I realised the truth of the proverb ‘A stitch in time saves nine.’’
