Dimpy fox was one of the most hated personalities of the town. He was working as an assistant electrician in a shop, and possessed very little knowledge of the things, but would boast before others that he is the most knowledgeful electrician of the town.
One day, a newcomer named Cute duckling arrived in Dimpy fox’s neighbourhood. She didn’t know about Dimpy’s boastful nature. Only last Sunday, her air-conditioner has stopped working further, as some problem has occurred in it. Cute duckling saw Dimpy fox working in a shop. She went at his shop and told him about the problem of the air-conditioner. Dimpy fox boasted that he would fix it within a few minutes, as he was the most efficient electrician of the town.
Dimpy fox went to the Cute duckling’s house and started pulling out each and every part from the air-conditioner one by one. Since he had little knowledge he could not join everything together again, as he did not know the respective places of the parts. Cute ducking waited for hours together, but when the things took a bad shape and the air-conditioner became worst than before, then she filed a case against Dimpy fox seeking compensation of Rs. Ten thousand that covered the cost of a new air-conditioner.
Moral—A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
