A beggar is the most condemned and unwanted person on the earth. Only a few gracious people are kind enough to give a few coins to them, others keep on abusing and insulting them, as they hate the very sight of the shabbily dressed beggars.
There are many kinds of beggars. Some beg for alms as they don’t like working for hours together to earn money. Some people became beggars as they are not given any work, and many others become beggars because of their handicaps.
The beggars must not be ill-treated by the people. The government and social welfare organisations must take initiatives to provide work to the beggars. The children of the beggars should be provided free education. Free training institutions should be opened up to improve the condition of the beggars. They should be taught the importance of hardwork and self-respect. They should be granted loans to open up small shops for themselves.
The beggars should be taught to become self-reliant and independent. They should be made the sensible and esteemed citizens of the country. The reformers of our country should make the beggars performers of the country, as their good performance can lead to the economic and social development.
