One day, a boy named Joseph was walking through the forest and found a blackboard hanging on an old oak tree. There was also a chalk box lying near by. As he loved to draw, he thought to draw something on the blackboard. He took out a piece of chalk and started drawing on the blackboard. He first drew a rabbit and when he finished the figure, it magically came to life and jumped out of the board. The boy was surprised and became very happy as he found a magic board. Joseph drew many animals and trees. Soon, the place became beautiful and full of animals playing happily. Now, Joseph drew his parents, brother and sister. Then, he drew some sandwiches, bottles of cold drink, paper plates and the empty tins, which always happened on a picnic.
Now, Joseph was enjoying picnic with his family but suddenly, a strange thing happened. Around every paper plate and empty tin, the forest started turning grey. This greyness started spreading to all animals, trees and flowers. Joseph realised that everything happened because of the litter he had spread everywhere in the forest. He quickly ran through the forest with the blackboard eraser and rubbed all the litter. He rubbed it very fast and not a single piece of litter was left. Everything became normal and the animals managed to recover.
But suddenly, the magic blackboard disappeared and Joseph never saw it again in his life. It was the most adventurous day of Joseph’s life; he could never forget it. Finally, Joseph went back home. Whenever he came to the countryside with his family, he remembered to pick up all the litter. He also reminded others that any litter left in the woods could be dangerous to the animals.
