Piano

Piano is a musical instrument. It has a keyboard having multiple keys. It is widely used in jazz and classical music. It is one of the most expensive musical devices. The modern piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori. He was the native of Padua, Italy. It is not yet confirmed when piano was invented by him. He was also known as an expert harpsichord creator. He better understood the stringed musical instruments. A document made by Medici family–one of Cristofori’s employers– reveals that piano already existed in the year 1700.

There are two types of modern pianos that include– upright piano and grand piano. Some of the parts of piano include frame, capo bar, damper, bridge, sound board, string, sostenuto, hitch pin, etc. Three of Bartolomeo Cristofori’s pianos still survive till today. It is used to compose basic music and rehearse musical composition. In many musical concerts, piano is played that gives soulful music.
