In the early 1990s, people were known of induction cooker but it’s definitely not a new technology; it had been widely used for so long. Induction cooker was introduced to the crowd in Chicago in 1933 and also in the mid of 1950. To assure its security a newspaper had been kept in between the surfaces of induction cooker and the vessel. It did not catch fire and then it’s adopted by many. But globally, it became known somewhere after 40 years.
A development process again started in 1970 at R&D centre of Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the USA. The first induction cooker was tagged with US $1500. There was a big production that took place in 1973 and 1975 but was banned by consumer product division. Again, a comeback took place by a European manufacturer in 2000. Now it’s more secure, safe and available in different ranges of prices.
