Jack and James were twin brothers. However, Jack was kind while James was selfish. On their seventh birthday, they wished to see an angel while blowing out the candles on their cake. That night, an angel appeared before them. “I am pleased with your earnest desire to meet me,” he said. Then, he asked them to do one good deed every day and write it in a diary. “I will grant a secret wish to a child whose deeds are the best,” said the angel. Jack continued to help others and would note his deeds in his diary. However, James would simply write a lie about doing a good deed in his diary. When the angel visited them again, he said, “I know James has been lying. So, Jack deserves the wish.” Seeing Jack get a brand new bicycle, James realised his mistake. He decided to become a kind boy from then onwards.
