Gordon’s parents had taken him to Cairo, Egypt, during his vacation. After seeing the pyramids, sphinx and other places of interest, Gordon was fascinated with Egyptian history and culture. Even after returning home, Gordon always talked about Egyptian kings, pyramids and mummies. He was amazed by the fact that they preserved their dead in the form of mummies. He often said, “I wonder what it would be like to see a real mummy!” One day, Gordon’s friends decided to play a prank on him. On Halloween, they dressed up as mummies and reached his home. As usual, Gordon was watching a documentary on Egyptian mummies. When his friends stood in front of him, he was shocked! He thought the mummies had walked out of his TV! Gordon understood his friends were playing a prank on him, when they screamed, “Trick or treat!” The next day, everyone in Gordon’s school was teasing him about the prank.
