Long ago, a wealthy man built a beautiful musical fountain in his garden. Many birds came to the fountain to drink its water or to bathe. But there was one particular bird that spent many hours at the fountain. It was Beth, the canary. She was so enchanted by its lovely music that she loved to sit by the musical fountain and listen to it for hours. One day, the wealthy man went on a long trip. The musical fountain was switched off in his absence. Seeing Beth upset, her friend, Randy, the crow said, “Beth, come with me. I will take you to a place which will always have music.” Randy led her to the brook by the forest and as she listened, Beth heard the beautiful brook bubbling and humming with the music of Nature. Overjoyed with Nature’s sweet music, Beth stayed there forever.
