We don’t know if Pallavi was brave. Pallavi was certainly innocent. She was fearless and courageous because she didn’t even know the meaning of fear. When a child doesn’t know the meaning of fear, the child has nothing to fear. One day, Pallavi was playing with her toys, while Ramaiah, her 2 years old brother, was sleeping. Her mother was cooking in the kitchen. Pallavi saw an interesting creature slithering over the bed and on to the infant Ramaiah. She found it so interesting that she caught the object and pulled it away. When her mother came from the kitchen to see the kids, she almost fainted in shock. She saw Pallavi holding a cobra by its tail. She screamed in fear. The neighbours came running, as they heard her scream. The neighbours praised the bravery of Pallavi and captured the cobra in a box to be given to the local zoo.
