Sally’s Magic Bubble

Once, there lived a pixie named Sally. At school, the lesson of that day was ‘Magical Shapes’. To show the students what round shapes were like, special strong soap bubbles were being blown outside. The teacher had warned everybody, “Blow only small bubbles. The big ones will cause trouble.” The students took the remaining soap solution home to practise making bubbles. Sally thought that she was very smart. Despite the teacher’s warning she blew a big bubble. The bubble grew around Sally and took her along as it floated out of the window. The bubble floated for a while. Suddenly, a bat flew past the bubble, bursting it. Sally came down—crashing through tree branches. She landed on the ground, injuring her very sore bottom! She said to herself, ‘I should have listened to the teacher!’ From that day onwards, Sally became the most careful student in the class.
