One midnight, Sheikh Chilli heard Jaggu and Ali discussing something outside his window. He went out to meet them. They were planning to play a prank on Aunt Channo. She was quite a miser, and did not allow any children to enter her house. Soon, the boys slipped into her courtyard quietly. Aunt Channo was sleeping in the corner of the courtyard. The kitchen was open and the boys found warm porridge on the earthen fireplace. All three of them tasted it. Yuck! It tasted of burnt milk! Sheikh said, “Let us teach her a lesson!” He then took a ladle full of porridge and poured it into snoring Aunt Channo’s mouth. She woke up and started shouting with closed eyes, “Help! Save me! Someone is trying to kill me!” Sheikh ran away as quickly as he could, leaving behind Jaggu and Ali to be caught!
