All the attendants of Princess Georgina were out in the garden playing with a ball. A fairy who saw them felt very jealous that she had no friends to play with. She hid the ball and the game stopped. The next day, when they played blind man’s buff, she hid the scarf! Princess Georgina realised that someone was playing tricks on them. She kept watch and discovered the naughty fairy. She brought a butterfly net and caught the fairy in it. “Who are you? Why do you spoil our game every day?” asked the princess. “I’m Niki,” said the fairy, “I feel jealous of you all!” Princess Georgina burst out laughing. “Niki, you don’t have to feel jealous at all! We can’t fly like you or do any magic! You should join us every day! Come; let’s play a game!” After that, Niki Fairy was never lonely or jealous.
