The miller wished his beautiful daughter to marry the king. So, he said that she could spin golden thread out of straw! The king locked his daughter in a large room full of straw with a spinning wheel and told her that she must spin gold by morning. The girl sat and wept! Just then, a little ugly man appeared and said he would do it on condition that she gave him her child when it was born! The girl agreed. The king was delighted and married the girl. When her son was born, the little man came to get the child. But the queen wept and begged him to leave her child. He said he would do that if she could find out his name within three nights! The queen sent soldiers far and near, but failed on two nights! Finally, they found out that his name was Rumpelstiltskin (a kind of goblin)! The queen and her prince were saved!
