The wicked queen, who was actually a witch, had a magic mirror which said that she was the most beautiful woman in the world. But later, it said that her stepdaughter, Snow White, was more beautiful than the queen. She sent her stepdaughter into the forest with a huntsman telling him to kill her, but he let her go. Snow White found shelter in a cottage where seven dwarfs lived. She looked after them and they warned her not to let anybody in. The queen learnt that Snow White was alive and came to the cottage as an old peddler selling apples. She gave Snow White a poisoned apple and Snow White died! The unhappy dwarfs placed her in a glass coffin. One day, a prince came to the forest. He was so charmed by Snow White’s beauty that he kissed her. The spell broke and Snow White came alive! Both the prince and Snow White married and lived happily.
