Long ago, all feelings were vacationing on an island when a severe storm approached. All feelings rushed to their boats in utter panic. As there were no free boats, Love asked Prosperity, “Please, take me in your boat.” However, Prosperity replied, “There is no place as my boat is full of precious possessions.” Even Sorrow refused, “I am so sad; I want to be by myself.” Happiness was too happy that she was hardly concerned about anyone. Then suddenly, somebody called out, “Love, I will take you with me.” Love gratefully jumped onto the boat. When everyone reached a safe place, Love met Knowledge and asked, “Do you know who helped me?” Knowledge said, “That was Time, because only Time knows Love’s true value and what Love is capable of.” When we are prosperous, we underestimate love. Even in happiness and sorrow, we overlook love. Only with time, we realise the true value of love.
