Balloon Competition

Once, a great acrobatic balloon competition was held in the forest. In the past, the flying insects would grab the balloon strings and fly off in all directions, creating all sorts of patterns in the air. So, they were everyone’s favourites to win. But this time, a group of ants was also taking part. Though they did not fly, they were very intelligent. The competition began. The butterfly and the firefly made beautiful patterns. Now it was the ants’ turn. The ants shared just one balloon among them. One by one, they climbed up the balloon string and formed a thin black thread of ants, till the entire string was covered. Finally, the last ant climbed over his teammates to reach the balloon. Once there, he climbed to the top of the balloon and pricked it. The result was amazing! The balloon began blowing out its air and did a thousand pirouettes. The ants were able to make all kinds of beautiful shapes with the string. The ants’ teamwork and their performance impressed everyone. Ants got a trophy for winning the competition.
