Once, a boy was walking along a road in the countryside. He was enjoying the scenery when suddenly he looked up in the sky and saw an angel. Within seconds, the angel vanished into the clouds! ‘That must be the doorway to heaven,’ the boy thought. He became curious. So, he decided to build a tower that would reach the clouds. First, he built a tower of wood, but it soon crashed down. Next, he built a tower with bricks and then with steel, but each time the tower collapsed. He earnestly wanted to visit heaven, but he was unable to fulfil his desire. He felt miserable and his eyes welled up. He prayed to God and requested that he really wanted to visit heaven once. Suddenly, the sun appeared from behind the clouds and a splendid rainbow appeared in the sky. The rainbow led the boy straight up to the doorway of heaven and he was overjoyed to fulfil his heart’s desire.
