Linda, Holly and Mary lived in Victoria and were friends. One day, they were talking about their children and wanted everybody to know how well they behaved with all the people of the town. They also wanted to make everybody realise the importance of being good and helpful to one another. So, the mothers decided to discuss this with their children. The next morning, Linda’s daughter Daisy helped all the infirm and weak animals by getting them water to drink. Holly’s daughter Wenda became a lifeguard for the people at the shore and prevented many from being drowned. Everyone now waited patiently to see what Mary’s son Ollie did. Ollie, the youngest of all, decided to spend his day talking to people and befriending them. He made friends with many children that day. Ollie and his friends worked as a team and brought about many changes in the town. Thus, the three children proved that by being good and helping others, they were making the world a better place to live in.
