Fernandez Fur Seal (like most seals) has an elongated body, a long and pointed snout and flippers. Their diet is made of squids, lobsters and fish. The female gives birth to a single pup and nurses it for 8-12 months. These fish were heavily hunted for their blubber, meat and oil between the 17th-19th centuries.
