Acid in a Swimming Pool

In a crazy game show, contestants have to wade through a swimming pool full of acid to win points for their teams. Five of the contestants decide to go through this acid, and when they get to the other side of the pool, none of them are hurt. How is this possible?

Answer
The contestants were wading through lemonade, or a similar acid. Although they’re not strong enough to burn your skin yet liquids like soda and lemonade are still considered acids. The contestants were perfectly safe, although some of them wouldn’t dare wade through such a sticky substance. This doesn’t make the show any less strange, of course.
