A man is in a square room with a window, a lamp, and a bed. The lamp and bed are on the opposite sides of the room. The man has nyctophobia (fear of the dark), and has to turn off the lamp and get to bed before his room is completely dark. The lamp is exactly 10 feet away from the bed and is super-glued to the wall and the bed is also bolted into place. And no, the man is not The Hulk and cannot rip the lamp off from the wall or move the bed. Neither is he some rubber man that can stretch his arms across the room. The lamp also does not have a clapper. How does he do it?

Answer
Turn off the lamp and get to bed while it’s still light outside! Did you forget that the room has a window?
