Books
Books can be divided into two types Good books and bad books. Good books are beneficial for the society, whereas bad books are harmful, as Good books are written by knowledgeful authors while bad books are written by ignorant persons, who are not writers. Good books show the right path of life to the people, whereas bad books misguide them. Therefore, always read good books, as they would lit up your path of life with lamp of knowledge.
Neighbour
A neighbour can be either good or evil. A good neighbour is helpful, considerate and kind, whereas an evil neighbour is selfish, inhuman and greedy. A good neighbour does not keep finding faults in the person, but corrects his flaws to make him a better person, whereas an evil neighbour keeps on criticising his neighbours to insult him before public. One must remain in the company of good neighbour and avoid the company of evil neighbour.
Making a cup of tea
Yesterday, a guest came to our house. I had to make a cup of tea for him, therefore I went to the kitchen and kept a small vessel with water on the gas-stove. When the water started boiling, I added a few tea leaves in it. Thereafter I took off the vessel from the gas and kept the milk on it. I switched off the gas stove when the milk became warm. Thereafter I strained the tea and poured it in a cup, then I poured some milk over it, after that I put two teaspoons of sugar and served it to the guest. The guest was delighted to taste the fine tea.
Nature
I love to watch nature. I love to gaze at those twinkling stars, sparkling moon, the wonderful sun, the lushgreen trees, the blooming flowers, the chirping birds. This is not the end of the creation of God. God’s creation is limitless. The lofty mountains, the beautiful fountains, the magnificent rivers, seas, lakes and what not. Everything seems so beautiful. At times, I paint beautiful pictures of these sceneries on my canvas.
How to learn drawing
It is not easy to learn drawing. You have to practice hard for it. In the beginning, you have to draw the shapes of the squares, triangles and rectangles to improve your drawing skills. Later on, you should draw the shapes of the cups, spoons, glasses and plates, while keeping them before you. After that, you should practice drawing sceneries and other artistic pictures. This way, you can improve your drawing skills to a great extent.
How should the elders behave?
The elders must deal the youngers with love and compassion. They must not force the youngers to do what they want them to do. They must not find fault in youngers all time. They should teach things to the youngers lovingly. If the elders find youngers doing something wrong, then they must convince them politely, why they are wrong. They must not beat or scold the youngers beyond limits, else the youngers become disrespectful and rebellious.
How should the youngers behave?
The youngers must give respect to their elders. They must not treat the elders shabbily. They must take care of their elders in their old age and give a part of their earnings to them. They must spend a little time to talk to them and to find a solution to their problems. The youngers must not feel jealous if the elders give more attention to others than them. The youngers must take care of the elders not out of greed but of love.
Buying a car
Last Saturday, my father went to a car showroom to buy a car. There were magnificent models of cars standing in the showroom. Every car had a wonderful name. The cars that I saw were—Wagon R, Esteem Lx, Zen Lx, Maruti 800, Omni E, Swift, Honda, Skoda, Tata Indigo, Indica and Qualis. My father bought a Maruti 800 and we went back to our house travelling in our car.
The rising prices
Everything has become costly these day. It has became difficult for the common man to survive in this expensive world. The milk is 20 rupees per litre, potatoes cost 10 rupees kg, tomatoes also cost 40 rupees kg and sometimes the prices go even higher than them. If the prices of everything would keep on getting higher, in this way, the result would be that everybody would be overburdened with high cost of living and the common man would have to lead a miserable life, as he would not be able to afford the clothes, food and shelter for himself and his family.
If i were the prime-minister
If I were the prime-minister of my country, I would have taken firm steps to remove poverty from every corner of my nation. I would send representatives to various villages and slum areas to solve the problems of the poor people. I shall open up more schools to educate their children and hospitals to treat them. I shall provide school uniforms, books, copies and pens to poor children. Besides this, I shall introduce programmes to give employment to each and every unemployed person of the country. I shall do my best efforts to remove poverty from the root, if I am given an opportunity to serve my country as the prime-minister.
How to remain happy?
If we want happiness in life, then we must be contented with what we have. Just take the example of a poor farmer, who does not earn much, but is contented with life and so remains always happy. In contrast, a rich businessman who is greedy and is not contented with life is never happy. He remains always unhappy, as he is never satisfied with life. A contented labourer is far happier then a wealthy person who is not contented with life. Therefore, be contented with what you have, if you want to remain happy all through your life.
Knowledge is power
Knowledge is a great blessing. It shows the right path to the person who is confused due to ignorance. For example, if one wants to reach a certain place, and he does not have the full address, he gets confused, but if someone gives the full address to the person who has lost the way, he remains no more confused, as he is no more ignorant of the address of his destination. The same way, we people remain confused due to ignorance and do all kinds of wrong things considering them right, but once we come in contact with a knowledgeful person, we don’t remain confused anymore, we are confident of the truth, and are able to discriminate between right and wrong. Therefore, there is no doubt that knowledge is a great blessing of God upon the mankind.
Titanic
The wonderful ship named Titanic was sailing through the ocean like an emperor. Every passenger was extremely happy for getting an opportunity to travel in that majestic ship. People were enjoying their trip on the ship, when all of a sudden the ship collided with an ice-berg and the ship began to sink in the ocean. Everyone drowned in the sea. An old woman was one of the few survivors of the ship. She remained alive for more than hundred years and narrated the whole story of the huge ship, and the passengers who got drowned in the ocean, though they tried their best to save their lives.
My morning routine
I wake up at sharp 5 o’clock in the morning. The first thing that I do in the morning is to meditate on God for fifteen minutes. I concentrate in between the eyebrows, with closed eyes and thereafter I pray to God to shower his blessings upon me. After that I get fresh, dress up, polish my shoes have my breakfast and go to the bus-stop to catch my school bus.
The holy books
All the holy books of the world, including Quran, Bible, Guru Granth, Ramayana and Gita, teach mankind the ideals of brotherhood, patience, tolerance and forgiveness. But inspite of that we people are becoming selfish and greedy. We only care for ourselves and our children, but don’t care for others. Others are also human beings, like us. We must love others, as we love ourselves, because all the holy books of the world teach us to love God and love one-another, as we all are the children of one and the same Almighty God, whose energy prevails in each and every living and non-living thing present in the world.
Intoxicating drinks
Intoxicating drinks are extremely harmful for health. The intake of liquor damages the liver and other body parts of the person and lead him to death. The people who drink liquor not only ruin themselves but their entire families as well. Their families suffer due to money problems and tension they create because of their bad habit of drinking liquor.
Juices
Juices are very beneficial for health, especially the carrot juice. It purifies the blood and cleanses the system. You can make this at home by putting a few half cut carrot into the juicer. After that strain the juice with a strainer and add a lemon, and a pinch of salt in it. You can also add tomato juice and orange juice in it to make it more tastier. Other than carrot juice, you can make pineapple juice, mango juice, grapes juice and many other juices of your choice by mixing them in the juicer in a proper way.
The nurse
The nurse has an important role to play in the medical field. She takes care of the patients by giving them medicines, breakfast, lunch, tea, supper and dinner at the right time. Besides this, she gives them counselling as to how to face life bravely, and cross the difficulties of life with patience. The nurse is like an angel for us, we must give her abundant love and respect.
Sensibility
The word ‘Sensibility’ means to have sense of doings things in a proper way. For example, if we go to someone’s house as a guest, and we don’t know how to talk, and eat, we shall be called uncultured people, as we lack sensibility of doing things in a proper way. If we keep on troubling our hosts by touching his things lying in the drawing room or spreading eatables on the table, then we shall not be liked and appreciated by him. We must eat with sensibility and talk only when needed, only than can we called sensible people. It’s not only that we should show sensibility only while eating and talking, we must also look sensible while doing others things like studying, laughing, joking. Everything must be done with ‘Sensibility’ only then can we become adorable personalities of the world.
A visit to a dentist
Yesterday, I went along with my mother to a dental clinic. My mother was suffering from toothache, so the dentist applied an injection on the tooth to relieve her pain. Thereafter he prescribed some medicines to be taken from the chemist. He told my mother to avoid eating food for three hours. My mother was very pleased with the way the doctor handled her painful tooth. We gave the fee of the doctor and left for home.
Correct your mistakes
Everyone does mistakes. Even the most genius person of the world lacks sensibility of some things. The greatest man of the world does mistakes, but the difference between a foolish man and a sensible person is that a foolish man keeps on repeating his mistakes, whereas a sensible person corrects them. A sensible person is not obstinate, he is flexible. He corrects his mistakes and don’t repeat them in future whereas a foolish man keeps on repeating them.
Keep greedy people at bay
We must not get too close to the greedy people, as they are dangerous for our lives. They don’t love us, but want money from us. They are not needy but greedy. A needy person is one who doesn’t have money for food, shelter, clothes and other means of livelihood, whereas a greedy person is one who has money for the necessities of life, but is not satisfied with what he has. He wants to have more and more money without working hard for it. We must not allow the greedy people to come close to us, else they ruin our lives and could go to the extent of killing us, if we don’t fulfill their huge demands. Therefore, help the needy ones, as much as you can, but always keep the greedy people at bay.
Punctuality
Everything must be done at the right time. Take an example of a person called Mr. A. Mr. A has to take a train. If he doesn’t reach at proper time he shall miss the train. Therefore, he must reach the railway platform at right time to catch the train. The same way, if you have to take a plane, you have to reach the airport at right time, else you miss the flight, and if you have to go by a bus, you must catch the bus at right time, else you will have to wait till the next bus comes. If you are not punctual and regular in school you miss studies. If the doctor is not punctual the patients may suffer. Therefore, punctuality is a necessity in our life.
Honesty is the best policy
One must do his duty with honesty, if one does not do then he is bound to suffer failure in his career and reputation. For instance if a bank clerk has stolen away the money of the bank, then he has to suffer the consequences of his evil deeds, when he is caught by the police and sent to jail. He is highly defamed in the public for his wrong deeds. It is not only that we should do our duty honestly, but we must be honest in all our dealings with public, we must be honest with our parents, our friends, our sisters, brothers and everyone around us. Honesty is the best policy, and there is no doubt about it.
At the railway station
There is a lot of hustle and bustle at the railway station. Someone is buying snacks for the journey, some are chatting with their relatives. Few are looking through the magazines at the book shop. Many are buying the newspapers, and some people are talking with their near and dear ones at the telephone booth. There is a lot of noise and activity on the railway platform, Everyone is eagerly waiting for the train.
Discipline
Everything must be done with discipline. Just watch the creation of God. How much discipline is there. The sun rises on time, the stars always twinkle at night, their shine is not visible in the day but at night. The earth revolves around the sun in discipline, the sun-rise and the sun-set occurs with discipline. If there would have been no discipline in the universe, then everything would appear confused. The sun would not rise for days together and there would be darkness all around in the world, the stars would not shine in the night, and the world would not appear beautiful. If the water would not prevail in the rivers and lakes, then how would we get water to drink. God has created everything in discipline. The same way we also must develop the habit of discipline otherwise, we would get confused and ruin our lives.
How to maintain good health?
We must start doing efforts right from the very childhood to maintain good health. To maintain good health, we should eat raw vegetables and salads daily, and chew them slowly, so that they get digested in our system. We must not eat too little or too much. We should eat a nutritious diet, and avoid fried stuff and too much sweets, as they are harmful for health. To have fast food or sweets once or twice in a month is alright, but we should not make it a habit to have them everyday. They are harmful for our health. Other than this, we must do a few light exercise daily. They keep our bodies flexible and healthy.
Petty issue lead to big fights
There are many people among us who take up big quarrels on small issues. For instance, a servant kills his master, if he is not given a day’s leave. A husband shouts at his wife, if he is not given lunch on time, he may sometimes go to the extent of beating and killing her for small mistakes. Although we people suffer punishments for our evil deeds, but we don’t understand it. What we don’t realise is that we too commit mistakes then why do we always keep on finding faults in others. It is right to correct others mistakes politely, but it is wrong to fight on small issues. One must avoid fighting on petty issues.
Healthy fun
It is good to have fun in life. It makes our life interesting and spiritful. Life becomes boring and dull if we don’t have fun in it. But we should not have unhealthy fun. We should not watch vulgar films, or crack indecent jokes. They spoil our personalities. We must enjoy a few good jokes that does not hurt anyone. We must not mock at others or make fun of others to insult them in public. We should enjoy sensible jokes, and laugh with people. People must not feel insulted at our jokes.
Work hard to achieve success
One must work hard to achieve success in life. A lazy man can never attain success in life. He wastes away his life in luxuries and comforts. The wealthiest of person becomes bankrupt if he doesn’t work hard. He keeps on wasting away all his money and resources in the luxuries of life and one day becomes poorest of poor man due to his wrong actions. A poor man who works hard and saves money for the future becomes wealthier day by day, whereas a wealthy man who wastes away his money not doing hardwork, keeps on getting poorer day by day. Therefore we must work hard if we wish to attain money, glory and success in our lives.
Weak should not be exploited
This is the world of strong. The strong people try to suppress, torture and exploit weak for their personal interests. The wealthy people take a lot of work from the poor and pay very little. The male beat, rape and kill female, considering them weak, the people who possess strong bodies, exploit people of weak constitution. This tendency is not only visible in the human beings but in animals too. The cat is scared of the dog but makes the rat her prey, as the rat is weaker than her. The animals are allowed to make the weaker animals their prey, as they don’t have sense. But it is wrong of the human being to suppress, exploit or torture weak people, as he is gifted with intelligence and wisdom by the Almighty God. He has an analytical mind. He knows what is right and what is wrong. Therefore, he must not do the wrong act of exploiting the weaker persons than him.
Laughter is the best medicine
A person should laugh for at least 10-15 minutes daily. Laughter is one of the medicines in the world that is available to us for free. Numerous heart ailments, mental and physical ailments could be cured with a hearty laughter everyday. It heals the wrinkles of the body and gives a glow on the face. Laughter keeps us healthy and happy throughout our life. Thus, it is one of the most wonderful medicines available to us free of cost.
How to get love from others
If we want love from others, then we must know how to give love to others too. How can we get love from others, if we don’t know how to love other people. There are many among us who want love from others, but don’t give respect to others. They deal others with cruelty. They take advantage of others bad circumstances and make their troubles double by harassing them. Such persons are not loved. People hate them. Only those person who love others with a pure heart, mind and soul can get love from others.
Count the blessings
Many of us don’t count the blessings of God, but curse God for the things that we don’t have. Take the example of a wealthy man called Mr. X. He has abundant wealth, property, servants, bungalows, cars etc. yet, he curse God for not giving him a son. He has two daughters but no son. But this is his wrong attitude. By cursing God, he is making God angry. What he doesn’t realise is that God can snatch away his entire property, wealth, bungalows and make him a poor man, with no money in his hands to feed himself and his family. God can snatch everything we have, if we don’t thank God for all that he has given to us. Therefore, thank God and count his blessings.
Flower arrangement
I love to arrange flowers in a way that they look more beautiful then before. I am very fond of sunflowers and roses. I put them in a proper sequence. The cow
The cow is one of the most useful animals of the world. She gives us milk. Milk is full of nutrients. It is very good for our health. The cow lives on grass and vegetables. The crow
The crow is a very cunning bird. It is quick to eat things, and after having his fill he immediately fly away. Even the sparrows don’t get a chance to eat as much as the crow does. He eats away the sparrows’s eatables too and don’t allow them to feed on them, till he has had his fill. But inspite of that all, crow is a good cleaner. It cleans up the trash and garbage lying on the roads and inside the premises of the houses. Crow is a clever bird, but a good sweeper of the world.
The bus conductor
The bus-conductor is one of the most important person on the bus. His main duty is to issue tickets to the passengers. They have a high hump because of the stored food. Once their food gets finished, their hump comes back to its normal size.

If a painter does not practice to draw, his paintings would not appear beautiful. If a film actor does not practice his dialogues, he would not appeal to the public the same way. If we don’t practice to do our things, again and again, we shall never become accurate in doing things, because practice makes a man perfect.
Pocket money
A particular amount of money that is given by the parents to their children is called pocket-money. The parents allow the children to spend their pocket money in the way they like, but children must not waste away the pocket-money given by the parents in luxuries. They must make it a habit of saving a little amount of their pocket money daily. After years of savings, one can deposit it in the post office or bank and earn a interest on it.
The helpless beggar
Beggars are of many kinds. Some beggars have the ability to work, but they don’t work. But some beggars are handicapped, they are helpless, they can’t work. We must help the helpless beggars. We must help them in whatever we can. If possible each one of us should help the helpless beggar to earn a living by selling newspapers, fruit and vegetables on the streets or establish an ISD/STD booth for them. A little help from our side can help the helpless beggars to stand on their feet and earn a satisfactory amount of money to fulfill the needs of himself and his family.

Some of their children need more attention, as they are not able to earn enough money like others, as they are not clever like them.
