We people take many vows before God, when we are in trouble, but forget them once our troubles are over.
We make promises to God, but don’t keep them. We invite the wrath of omnipotent God with our wrong attitude of life.
There are many people who take vows before the holy scriptures that they would donate gold, silver or cash for the social cause once their sufferings are over, but do nothing when their prayers are answered by God.
Either the man should not make the promises or he should keep the vows that he has made before Almighty God, else he could make his life miserable by making God unhappy by his deeds.
Some men are not aware of the consequences of taking false vows before God, thus they don’t mind doing wrong acts. Such people displease God out of ignorance. The vows made before God must be fulfilled at any cost. The promises made before God or other people must be kept, lest a person has to face dire consequences of his wrong deeds.
