Numerous people in the world come to realise their follies only after committing great blunders of life, just like a foolish husband who breaks his wife’s head and then buys plaster to heal it. It is wrong to repent for follies after committing them. Why not to stop committing follies, altogether, so that we don’t have to repent later on.
There are many people in the world, who torture and harass their wives mercilessly for years together, but in old-age seek their forgiveness. They are highly defamed people of the society. They are most selfish people on the earth.
Initially, they torture wives to gain full control over them in order to make them do whatever they please. They want to suppress their wives and take lots of work from them in their youth.
In the old-age they become more dependent on their wives and hence stop torturing them further. Now, they begin to appreciate their wives efforts in bringing stability in their marital life. The wives are never pleased with their attitude. They however adjust with their husbands, as they are their life-companions.
It is wrong to repent for one’s mistakes, after committing them. We must avoid such act, that could prove disastrous in our lives. It is wrong to ‘break wife’s head and then buy a plaster for it.’ It’s better not to break her head, first of all, instead of repenting for this folly later on.
