Subhas Chandra Bose (Historical Personalities)

Subhas Chandra Bose was one of the greatest freedom fighters of India. This great patriot took birth on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack. He was born at the time when India was ruled by the Britishers. The Britishers had arrived to do business but instead they steal away the wealth of India and occupy its territories for vested interests.
Subhash Chandra Bose grew up as a strong willed man to face up the hardships of the world courageously. He strongly rebelled against the wrongs done by the Britishers. He dreamt to free India from their clutches and transfer it into a paradise.
He had the courage to fight alone with several soldiers at one time. He attained widespread popularity due to his undaunted courage and strong willpower.
He passed Indian Civil Services exams with flying colours but did not accept any post because he was against the British and it was against his principles to serve under the alien rulers to whom against he fight for independence.
He was elected as the president of Indian National Congress twice. He was a secular person and didn’t discriminate between persons on the basis of their caste, colour and creed. He observed the inner virtues of valour and patriotism and admired the people who possess these two great qualities.
He fled over to Germany to garner support for his movement. Netaji established Azad Hind Fauz in Singapore to tackle the British in India firmly.
One day Netaji called upon the people of the nation and told them strongly to come forward to shed their blood for their nation. He attributed that to attain freedom, the country needs their sacrifice. Thus, they should give their blood and she would give them freedom. Subhash died on 17 August 1945 in a plane crash in Taiwan. But his death remained a mystery till now.
He was truly a symbol of indomitable courage and willpower.
