To be honest in thought, to be honest in deeds—this is what should always be the motto and the guiding principle of our lives. ‘Policy’ here does not mean any strategy or diplomatic action; the simple meaning of policy here is the way of action and behaviour. Honesty always gives a man a great moral courage; he feels confidence internally from his inner self that he has not done anything wrong that anybody would point a finger at him. Such a man moves with his head high and is also honoured in the society. A clean conscience is the greatest strength and this comes only by acting and thinking honestly. Never tell a lie, never hide anything, never deceive, never cheat anybody—this is honesty and this is the ‘best’ thing. Man has been given this life to live; live it as well, as on going back from this world you would not leave anything in the form of words and deeds which may give any chance to people to think ill of you. Honesty alone can do it—this is the best way of life.
