My New School Lab

Last Thursday the new school lab at Brickman School was officially opened. It was declared opened by the famous physicist, Dr. Vincent lee, who is former student of the school. A large number of invited guests attended the opening.
Dr. Lee began his speech by saying how delighted he was to be back in his old school. He said that being back again brought back many happy memories. School days really had been the best days of his life.
Dr. Lee went on to say that his interest in science had originally been stimulated by his old science teacher, Mr. Jackson. He said that good teachers were an important part of any school, but that other things were important also.
Particularly in case of science, Dr. Lee said that it was essential for the students to have modern buildings and state of the art equipment. Too many students, he claimed, were still working in old buildings with out of date equipment.
He stated that, since modern science plays is an increasingly important role in modern life, it is vital has highly trained scientists. To achieve this, he said, students must be encouraged to take an interest in science from an early age.
Dr. Lee declared that he was absolutely delighted to open such a well designed building with such state of art equipment in his old school. He closed his speech by saying that he was confident that in the future he would see a steady stream of students going from the school into science courses at universities around the country.
Those who attended the opening applauded dr. lee’s speech warmly. They were then shown round the lab. Everyone expressed their admiration for the splendid building.
